Our cousins came home from California after 4 long years to celebrate the debut of Crizelle here w/ the rest of us. Got to meet 2 new members of the family too, El Rey w/c is Crizelle's bf and Mai w/c is Alexis' significant other. I became involved in organizing the last minute details for the party. Make-up artist, AVP, music and masks. This month is one of my most memorable yet.
3 sleep-deprived nights + stomach-churning-tastes-like-cough syrup-cocktails + dancing like crazy +1st time hosting for an event + comedy bar fail + hotels-with-arrogant receptionists + food coma at our Granny's house + charades + famous baked mac + your precious cousins (squared) + never-ending laughter and sneers = sore throat, tonsillitis and fever.

But heck, i'm willing to get sick again and again just to experience it all. :)

The next day, we all went home to our Granny's house. She cooked lunch and everyone was there. Played charades and just laughed all day.

Seeing them leave is heartbreaking. I guess I won't see them again for the next 5-7 years. But distance doesn't matter as long as you have your hearts in one place called home. :)
Hasta luego!
