Let me just get down to business. (Intro's are the hardest believe me.)
Located in the lower ground floor of the Atrium wing, The Kebab Factory is a persian restaurant where you can go to fulfill your kebab and shawarma cravings. There's also a wide array of types of tandooris and curries too. I guess we were the first customers for that day because we were there at 10:45 in the morning (the Boss impulsively wanted to watch Green Lantern) so we had the place all to ourselves.
We were handed the menu as soon as we settled in. Their ala carte meals range from P200-P375 and their curries can go up to P430. Good thing that they have meals to choose from so the Boss had C2 or Chicken Mast Kebab Meal while I tried their C4 or Chello Lamb Kebab. We didn't missed ordering Hummus (our favorite!) which was good but not as good as the one we had in Cyma. Their ambiance was nice and you will be able to see that they make their Pita breads fresh through that window that shows their kitchen. Too bad their restroom was closed though.

garlic and hot sauce |
The complimentary garlic sauce was one of the best I tried. Its consistency was just right and it bursts with that garlic-all-you-can flavor. Don't underestimate the hot sauce though because it's hotter than Tabasco. Our Hummus and Pita bread arrived first. Their Hummus was cold topped with olive oil and an olive. The warm pita bread came wrapped in a white cloth to prevent it from getting cold. They were indeed a nice pair.
Hummus P150 |
We weren't satisfied with the bread and ordered another one for P40 to finish the Hummus down. Finally our meals arrived after waiting for 15 minutes and I was sad that I ordered lamb because the Boss' Chicken Mast Kebab was superb! It was bursting with flavor and cooked just right. It is definitely a must try. Pair it with the garlic sauce and you are in heaven. :)

Chello Lamb Kebab P200 |
My lamb kebab was just uhmm okay. Haha! No it was good, but while eating it, I was thinking of devouring the Boss' chicken because it was just a new flavor to me. My lamb kebab was tender but a little bit charred. Over all, it was a good meal despite the obvious wear and tear from our plates.
turn off, yes I have that disorder you are thinking about now |
Hasta Luego!
