The weather was perfect on our second day when we woke up to go to Ariel's Point. We booked this activity by going to Station 1 the day before but expect to see their staff around station 2 offering the package. Prior to our trip, we decided we're going to do it than go parasailing which only lasts 15 minutes or so.
After buying a mango banana shake at Jonah's (which we found extremely overrated not to mention their very filthy kitchen) we walked our way to Ariel's House to register and pay our remaining balance. We were given a baller band which served as our ID for the trip.

The package costs P1,400 per person. It includes the following:
- round trip boat transfers from Borcay island to Ariel's point
- buffet lunch
- unlimited drinks: sodas, water and BEER
- afternoon snacks: delicious banana and camote - q
- unlimited jumps
- unlimited kayak
- unlimited snorkeling with free gears (life vests, snorkel and mask)
Not bad eh?
We went aboard this huge boat and departed at 11:30am. It has 2 decks and it felt very secure. The staff immediately asked us what we wanted to drink which we have to decline to because it was still early for a beer hehe.
Music was blaring on our way to the cliff and everybody was in a cheerful mode. Before disembarking the boat, the lady gave us a few guidelines on what to do and what not to do for safety precautions. We all laughed when she said "the more you drink, the higher you jump!"
In case you are wondering how high the platforms are, I'm quoting an answer from the Ariel's Point website.
"There are five different cliff diving platforms at Ariel’s Point. The exact height varies based on the tide levels, but our highest platform is 13 meters above the water, with the lower ones at 7 meters, 6 meters, 5 meters, and 3 meters. Guests who prefer not to jump from any of the platforms can use our floating dock to enter the water."
Everyone was hesitant at first. But when someone jumped from the 6 meter platform, everybody followed. I saw some guests drinking beer as soon as they arrived so maybe that gave them the guts (or I'm just a chicken) to jump. The boss jumped from the 6 meter platform too and honestly I got more scared about it haha! I jumped from the lowest rock and managed to survive. Too bad the boss was only able to film one of my jumps! (oh boy)

Everybody was having lots of fun when everybody started jumping after the other. Constant clapping and cheering filled the air. You can see the excitement and hesitation from everyone's eyes. I honestly wanted to jump from the 6 meter platform too but got scared. It just felt too long to hit the water when I tried the lowest one.
An hour later, lunch was served. There was rice, Grilled Pork Liempo, Grilled Chicken, Eggplant Salad, Longganisa, Herbed Potatoes, Grilled Fish, Pansit, fruits and condiments. The food was superb. The total amount of food I ate can last me for 2 days haha!

with new friends - Laurent and Catherine |
We left at 4 in the afternoon just in time for the sunset with tons of smile, full bellies, woozy visions and new friends. What more can you ask for in a tour?
This, for us, is the highlight of our vacation.
