Dinner at Char - Bq Grill

While looking for where to eat on our second night in Boracay, we passed by this restaurant where you can get to choose 4 skewers of your choice for P230 per person. That also included oysters, soup, unlimited rice, iced tea and dessert. We were being serenaded by a really good band while we were waiting for our food to be ready. I don't know why but maybe because of the many couples who were having dinner, all songs were about love. It felt like valentines.

cream of mushroom - just okay

steamed oysters - I don't eat these so the boss had it all by himself. He said they were a bit rubbery

grilled veggies, prawns, beef satay and beef kebab

Mango crepe like thingy with vanilla ice cream

The food was just...well..just okay. Just the regular smokey flavor you get when you cook at home. Boracay has a lot pricey restaurants so I guess this one was worth the bill but don't expect too much. Oh and the band accepts song requests too! :)


Overall dining experience: 2 out of 5 skulls
