During our stay at The Bellevue Manila, we had breakfast and dinner at Café d' Asie - one of the two restaurants located inside the hotel. Their all - day - buffets is a culinary feast for all. A wide array of international dishes will surely satisfy the Anthony Bourdain in you. And man, I tell you - the desserts are so worth the extra pounds you'll about to gain haha!
It will take me a while to complete this entry if I will enumerate them all so here are some pictures:
As we sat down, they immediately asked us for coffee or tea. You can actually make your own Cafe Americano in the available coffee maker but it was too late when I noticed it. I then headed to the Filipino section and when I was about to get my share of danggit and fried squid, the chef offered to make a fresh batch for me and my mom and he personally delivered it to our table. I paired with hot garlic rice, sunny side up eggs and fresh tomatoes. IT WAS HEAVEN ON EARTH. (kudos chef!)
There were pancakes, fresh breads, a variety of cereals, cheese and a lot more.

I ate a lot that morning. The food was scrumptious and their salad section of fresh vegetables and fruits made me come back for thirds.

Dinner is a different story. You can get to choose from fresh fish, lamb chops, sausages etc. and have them grilled. Their roast beef was cooked to perfection and every slice melts in your mouth. The pasta station has all the types of sauces you can ask for and the Mongolian corner boasts of fresh vegetables that you can choose from to pair with your rice and choice of meat and a lot, lot more. I know I won't do justice so here's a ton of pictures for your mouths to water.

Their staff were attentive enough to notice an empty water glass and eagerly kept on filling it every time even without asking. The pianist at the corner was merrily playing songs that made the mood more laid back. I never thought eating and relaxing can go hand in hand. My mom and I surely had a great time dining here but felt a little sad because we weren't able to sample everything and that's one of the reasons for us to come back.
