Casa Verde - Ayala Center Cebu

If you have a huge appetite and you are the one who's not satisfied with the average servings of expensive restaurants, then Casa Verde is for you. Why? Because their portions are BIG!

Proof:

Those ribs up there are just P198 per serving. Yes it's cheap. The 2 slabs of ribs are served with buttered vegetables, rice or mashed potatoes and drizzled with a sweet barbecue sauce. If I only knew about how big it would be, I would've just ordered one and share it with the boss. The ribs are tender, moist and it falls off the bone. The small serving of rice is just enough because you'll be full with the ribs alone. 

Casa Verde's original branch is in #69 Lim Tian Teng St. Cebu City. But they also have a branch in the 3rd level of Ayala Center which is very accessible to everybody.  They offer mostly American food but with Cebuano prices. I saw a nearby table order a burger and it was big enough for 4 persons. The cozy restaurant is adorned with different sport accessories. There were hockey sticks, helmets, surfboards and framed sports memorabilias.

I thought I won't be able to finish my ribs. But they were oh-so-juicy good! So if you visit Cebu, make sure to add Casa Verde to your itinerary to make your vacation a little more "filling". :)
