First Day High!

Senin, 25 Juli 2011

Like what I mentioned in my previous post, I enrolled in Instituto de Cervantes in Ermita to refresh mx SpanIsh language.Well I have a lot reasons and one of them is to get a higher - paying job. So I will share with you how my first day went.

I went straight to school after work. My total travel time is 1:14:38. Yes, I was so bored that I actually bothered to time it. After riding a jeep, FX, three trains, (LRT1, LRT2, MRT) and a tricycle, I officially call myself the "Commuter Queen". *bows* I will do this routine twice a week for ten weeks. All for the sake of getting a higher-paying job. This is life, my friends.

So this is how my school looks like. I was fascinated by the scanner thing machine that you normally get to see at airports. I don't really know why security is so tight out here.

I was 30 minutes early for my class so I decided to go to the library to get my library card application form and just kill time.

Their library is heaven on earth! I can see myself spending hours here!
surprised to see Bloss! Yay!<3
Their library has an extensive range of books. Wasn't able to browse much because I was so giddy! You can borrow books, DVD's and CD's for 2 weeks.

i super love the high ceilings!

Finally, it was time for class. Almost half of my classmates are call center slaves like me. Only difference is, their company paid for their tution fee. It was actually fun meeting new people even if we all were a little dizzy because of lack of sleep. Our instructor's name is Fatima, and she is a missionary from Ecuador. She's been living here in the Philippines for 2 years. I'll try to take a picture of her for you to see. :)

KKK!
We were taught introductory terms and how you greet people. Their alphabet is a little tricky because you pronounce the letter "i" like the letter "e". Everything was still familiar to me because my mom always talk to me in Spanish specially when she needs to scold me in front of people and once I learn, I can talk back! Haha! Kidding!

Hasta luego!
